VICTORI CONTEMPORARY
presentsUnknown Landscapes
October 3 - 6, 2013
(e)merge art fair
Washington D.C.
Unknown Landscapes is a curated group exhibition showcasing an exceptional mix of fresh work by Léo Caillard, Nicholas Forker & Virginia Wagner focusing on spaces and places, from the subconscious and imaginative, to the non-existent and mythical, to the surreal and unreal. Debuting at the (e)merge art fair in Washington D.C. from October 3-6, 2013, Unknown Landscapes is a multi-media exploration through landscapes and worlds only discovered in the minds of a few emerging yet startlingly innovative young visionaries. Unknown Landscapes will take you through the alternative painterly worlds and their constructs seen through glass menageries with Wagner, to the layered and re-layered monochrome collage work exploring the thin line between nature's tertiary tangibility and the contrasting subconscious imagination of man with Forker, to the recreation of distinct and known realities into impossible scenarios and settings with Caillard.
Works to also be exhibited and available by Gregory Hayes, Michael Miller, Miriam Cabessa, Peter Lapsley and Ted VanCleave.
Join us next month in one of the country's fastest emerging art scenes to party, peruse, drink, discover, and enjoy performances, installations and emerging talents from around the world.
